“A young videographer answers an online ad for a one-day job in a remote town to record the last messages of a dying man. When he notices the man’s odd behavior, he starts to question his intentions.”

I’ve realized that with found footage movies, you are usually extremely impressed or depressed at what can be done on a minimal budget. Since you have to rely on the story and acting instead of fancy cinematic makeovers. And Creep is one of those that succeeds.

The main horror of this movie is just that you have no clue what is going to happen next because the character of Joseph is completely off his rocker. This move is so brilliant and does it all with just two men and a handheld.

There is not much I will be able to write here without spoilers. So…

SPOILERS FROM HERE

There are so many red flags in this movie that I would have been out the door in the first ten minutes. The creepiest (no pun) moment is the “confession” of the guy raping his wife.

WTF?!?!?!?

Then he’s sending Aaron a locket with photos of the? And a knife? And…. he left the last damn DVD – IN THE HOUSE! And still – STILL – thus sap is still tricked into meeting back up with him! This dude totally deserved the axe in the head.

Oh, and there is a sequel.
