Plot/Acting

“Two separate sets of voluptuous women are stalked at different times by a scarred stuntman who uses his “death proof” cars to execute his murderous plans.”

This movie and its Grindhouse sequel – Planet Terror – came out on my birthday. So you know I had to see it in the theater. And it did not dissapoint.

How do I sum up this movie? One sentence: “Fuck around and find out.” Kurt Russel as Stuntman Mike is amazing. And his sick and twisted way of murder leaves him with broken bones and an “accident” to explain away the deaths.

This movie gives us two very different types of female characters. This first set of targets are the girly “maybe I’ll let him make out with me” party types. And the second… not so much.

I cannot state how much I LOVE Zoe Bell. She’s a true stunt woman playing herself which makes the action even more exciting because those reactions are real.

SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT

After his attempt to kill Zoe, we see the stuntman for sho he really is – a whiney little coward who messed with the wrong women.

These ladies get on the hunt to kill this son-of-a-bitch and nothing, not even a random boat, can stop them.

Female power at its finest.
