“The Abaddon Hotel will once again be open to the public. Russell Wynn has taken his audience-interactive show, Insomnia, into the abandoned hotel that is rumored to be haunted.”

Let’s round this out, shall we? The conclusion to Hell House come with a final explication that… well, it finished it.

Interactive theater can be an interesting experience. Making the interactive theater a Faustian interpretation in a house where people have gone missing and died? Well, that’s a new take.

Faust is a tale of the Devil verses God in a very straightforward interaction of temptation. And the Abaddon hotel is supposed to be some sort of temptation to Hell. So, the irony is not lost.

To be honest, I feel like this movie is throwing noodles at the wall to see what sticks. They toss in clips of the previous movies as if to justify the entire thing.

SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT

So, Russell died and came back as as angel, burned the house down and everyone who worked for him is okay. But the Hell House crew is stuck in the house forever?

But it burned down… and if he could save everything that night… and why the Faust play… ugh.
