“After picking up a traumatized young hitchhiker, five friends find themselves stalked and hunted by a deformed chainsaw-wielding loon and his family of equally psychopathic killers.”
Most sequels try to just cash in on the name of a movie and loses any plot. Now, i’m about to piss some people off but…
I like this better than the original.
Don’t come for me yet! Just listen (or read.) I feel like this version gave us more to the characters which got me more emotionally involved. The plot tracked beautifully and each gory death left a shiver down my spine.
Once the metaphorical (and literal) first shot is fired, the suspense and gore that we long for in this type of movie doesn’t disappoint.
The other thing I liked was them showing this understanding from the few people who reside nearby that “sweet boy.”
SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT
Never in my life have I cheered so hard for someone to repeatedly run over another person multiple times with a car.
And I’m not going to lie, if the baby wasn’t saved, I was going to throw a fit.
