“A malevolent being known as The Jester terrorizes the inhabitants of a small town on Halloween night, including two estranged sisters who must come together to find a way to defeat this evil entity.”

What happens when Meg can’t sleep? She finds little movie trailers on TikTok. I found a small snipit of this movie and was instantly intrigued.

There is something extra horrific about a villain that you don’t know the motives about. Here, we see that there is some connections to the family but to what end?

Silence is golden and the antagonist Jester provides a world of dialog with no words. And the death scenes? I was having a blast watching him take simple carnival tricks and making them into a gory mess.

I know this is going to be an extra short review but I really need to get into the ending.

SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT

I had thought that the plot of the two half sisters would culminate into a battle of them verses evil…

But here we are. Dissapointed.

In the end he’s just a symbol of their pain and just… goes away? It felt like such an anti-climatic ending that I actually was a little pissed.

All revved up and no ending to show.
