Shudder decided to ie a a little treat by dipping back into the Hell House franchise.
I was a bit leery when it started out at a different location than the Abaddon Hotel but as any good horror movie junkie, I kept going.
And to be honest, glad I did.
Though it seemed to be something separate from the Abaddon Hotel, we get more pieces to the puzzle.
This movie keeps to the documentary style format so that the flow of the Hell House franchise is kept consistent. This time it is an unsolved mystery net sleuth who decided to document the house that some murders took place. During their introduction to the crime scene, they bring up an antique store that happens to have reliques from… Abaddon!

Clowns. Why does this movie series always have that creepy clown? Well, they actually tie that in at the end here.
Do we ever really know what happens to cult members who miss their cult’s big day of slaughter? Well now we do!
The man who murdered his family was meant to be in the Abaddon slaughter!
Not bad. Very interesting twist.
