“A video artist looking for work drives to a remote house in the forest to meet a man claiming to be a serial killer. But after agreeing to spend the day with him, she soon realizes that she made a deadly mistake.”

We are back into the videographer serial killer world with Creep 2 and it picks up with our killer now assuming the name “Aaron” from the victim in the first movie and starting to wonder if he’s lost his love of killing.

Enter Sarah, a video blogger who wants to get to know people through their personal ads and find out why they write them. This opens her up to many kind of people but none quite as special as our Aaron.

Now, he doesn’t play this like the last movie, no. He’s having a serial killer midlife crisis.

This videographer is not easily spooked and is actually super amped about the opportunity to blog someone who thinks he is a serial killer. But as we know…

Slowly, his unfolding insanity leads him to a great idea. He wants to pass along his legacy by having Sarah kill him as her first step into becoming a serial killer herself.

SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT.

Strong from beginning to end, Sarah can hold her own against the madness and finally bases this dude’s head but… the final scene shows someone following Sarah what appears to be months later and then, sits across from her doing that signature eerie whistle.

It’s not bad at all for a sequel but is slow to move forward at some points.
