“A master of disguise deranged killer begins killing off the college students who are organizing a horror-movie marathon in an abandoned theater.”

So, this movie wasn’t actually on my list but Joe Bob Briggs was showing it on the Last Drive in and it sparked my horror curiosity. Small production with a few names I recognized – I’m in!

It’s a little hard to follow as there are a few plots seeming to go on all at once but it’s entertaining. As this horror movie marathon progresses, it pretends to show old 50’s style movies but actually these films were made specifically to be shown in this movie.

Lost yet?

So they’re showing old films but they found one old film and it seems to revive some old serial killer… I’m not sure.

And he makes masks of his victims.

I have to admit that the death scenes are pretty clever as they match up to whatever feature they’re supposed to be playing.

It’s a campy, fun-filled kill flick that doesn’t really have a c cohesive plot but it keeps up the energy which makes you stay to watch more.

SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT

So the killer is Maggie’s real father but he somehow connected to her through the short film that they saw and her mom isn’t her mom…

Okay. I’m lost. But that’s okay. It’s a fun flick. Watch when you don’t need to take things too seriously.
