Listen. I had SO much hope for this movie. A ton. I love Tim Burton. I love the cast. And there was so much potential for this sequel. But it’s so far off the mark from the original. Lydia sold out? Delia’s probably the only one in character as she was always the flamboyant bad artist.

I know this is a little early but….

The Deloris and Jackson side plots just are so unnecessary. You could have had the whole movie revolve around Astrid finding out her powers and Beetlejuice still trying to marry Lydia. And why did that musical scene take forever? (May be the extended copy of the movie I watched.)

I’m not going to lie. It was a little fun but it just… felt so much like “let’s cram a bunch of crap in.”
